PhUn for Researchers
Have some fun in working with a teacher in your local area
to prepare for your and your lab group's visit (if possible)
to his or her classroom! PhUn Week 2008 focuses
on the physiology of exercise, but you are welcome
to focus on other areas of physiology.
Coordinating your schedule and a teacher's schedule can be challenging!
So, the earlier you discuss possible dates,
the greater are the chances that the teacher can host you in his or her classroom
during the first week in November! View the
Plan a Visit page to see the strategies
and resources for planning your visit.
Instructional materials that can be used in partnership
with the teacher are available in the Resources section of this website.
Preview and customize the APS-approved PowerPoint presentation templates.
Insert your own profile in the presentation!
How do you look for a teacher in your community?
Visit the Find a Teacher page for suggestions
and a link to the U.S. Department of Education's database of schools.
Finally, visit the
Get Ready page for some resources and motivation on presenting in a K-12 classroom!
